Unspoken

  • New Road Psychotherapy Centre 73 Church Road Hove, BN3 2BB United Kingdom (map)

A day of embodied healing and self-discovery.

You are warmly invited to Unspoken, a restorative day of breathwork, dialogue, reflection, and deep rest. A nourishing vegetarian and vegan lunch, along with snacks and refreshments, is included.

Unspoken is a gentle yet transformative workshop that explores the hidden stories we carry; those kept in silence, whether spoken, unspoken, or even unknown to us. Together, we’ll examine how generational patterns, inherited wounds, and unexpressed experiences can quietly influence our lives and relationships.

Through a combination of teaching, breathwork, insight dialogue, and Yoga Nidra, this day offers a safe and spacious environment to connect with the unseen with compassionate awareness. As we soften towards what has been held in silence, we begin to release long-standing patterns and blocks, not only in the mind but also in the body and nervous system.

This is an invitation to meet yourself with kindness, to release what no longer serves you, and to reconnect with the deeper vitality, clarity, and freedom that have always been within you.

No one will be required to speak or share anything personal unless they choose to do so. The focus is on connecting with the felt sense, which encompasses what arises in the body, mind, and emotions, and can be explored quietly and privately. There will be chances to share, but always in a gentle, pressure-free environment. The space is held with care: safe, respectful, and attentive to each person’s pace.

Facillitators: Rory Singer & Kathy Stover

Rory Singer

Rory is an experienced psychotherapist, group facilitator, and long-time practitioner of meditation and contemplative practice. With over 35 years of experience in psychotherapy, Rory brings a warm, grounded presence and a deep understanding of how unconscious patterns—both personal and generational—shape our lives.

His work integrates psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Buddhist perspectives, alongside contemporary insights from trauma therapy and neuroscience. Rory has a particular interest in how unspoken experiences—secrets, silence, and inherited trauma—become embedded in the nervous system and how, with the right conditions, they can be gently brought into awareness, understood, and released.

Rory is dedicated to creating safe and compassionate spaces where healing, insight, and transformation can unfold.

Kathy Stover

Kathy is passionate about exploring what it means to be fully human and alive. Her journey has been shaped by the transformative power of breathwork, meditation, and embodiment practices, which continue to deepen her connection to herself and the world around her.

She is a certified iRest Yoga Nidra practitioner (250 hours) and has completed 400 hours of breathwork facilitation training with Breathing Space, accredited by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance. Kathy has practised yoga and meditation for over 25 years, and her work is inspired by nondual and tantric traditions, alongside a deep curiosity for the inner landscape and the life force within.

Kathy shares her love of breath, movement, and Yoga Nidra through offerings that invite people to slow down, soften, and reconnect. She holds a compassionate space for people to release tension, let go of old patterns, and rediscover a sense of ease, clarity, and inner radiance.

A nature lover and artist at heart, Kathy finds her nourishment in wild places—hiking mountain trails, swimming in cold water, camping under the stars, or learning about the natural world on safari.
